Toomey Launches Four Day Bus Tour

Republican Senate candidate Pat Toomey kicked-off a four-day campaign bus tour on Monday with a speech at Pennsylvania’s State Capitol.
Toomey also spoke to and answered questions from political insiders at a Pennsylvania Press Club luncheon in Harrisburg. The bus tour is expected to cover most of the state except the southeastern corner, which includes heavily Democratic Philadelphia and its suburbs.
The tour includes a 5:45pm appearance in Altoona today with Toomey attending the grand opening of the East Plank Road location of the Blair County Republican Headquarters.
Toomey is facing a tough battle from his Democratic challenger Congressman Joe Sestak, who currently represents the southeastern part of the state.
