Allentown, PAAccording to the Erie Times today, Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper (D-PA-03) will donate $14,000 in campaign contributions she received from the ethically challenged Rep. Charlie Rangel in light of new ethics charges filed against the New York Democrat.

Rep. Dahlkemper joins Pennsylvania Democrat Rep. Chris Carney (D-PA-10) and other Democrats around the country who have donated campaign contributions from Charlie Rangel to charity organizations.

But Congressman Joe Sestak continues to stand by Charlie Rangel, and continues to hold onto the $12,000 he has received from Rangel’s campaign committee and leadership PAC.

What does that say about accountability?

Further, the recently released 2nd quarter fundraising reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show Sestak took in $158,822 from the radical liberal group MoveOn.Org in this election cycle alone.

And of course, this comes on top of recent revelations that Congressman Sestak voted 100% of the time with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in 2009.  (To be fair, in 2010, Joe’s voting record has only been 97% with Pelosi – a fact that Congressman Sestak appears to think makes him appear more moderate.)

What does this all add up to?

“Congressman Sestak voted with Nancy Pelosi 100% of the time, gets boatloads of cash from the far left group, MoveOn.Org, and adamantly stands by Charlie Rangel,” Toomey Communications Director Nachama Soloveichik said.  “There could not be a clearer picture of a liberal politician who is a rubber stamp for the Pelosi/Rangel leadership and the ways of Washington.”
