Team Toomey

As an intern on Pat Toomey’s U.S. Senate Campaign, you will play a role in electing Pat Toomey to the United States Senate while experiencing the inner workings of a statewide campaign.

Interns may be assigned to one of four campaign shops:

1. Political (Organizing of Volunteers)
2. Finance
3. Communications
4. Office Management

This will be determined based on each applicant’s skill sets and interests.

Where an intern is assigned will determine which activities they may be asked to perform. These include, but are not limited to:

Political:

1. Helping to coordinate events around the Commonwealth
2. Volunteer Recruitment
3. Voter Registration efforts

Finance:

1. Support finance staff in organizing and executing fundraising events
2. Maintain donor correspondence and database
3. Field calls and relay intelligence to appropriate staff

Communications:

1. Monitoring video and news clippings
2. Occasional researching duties
3. Fielding and directing press calls

Office Management

1. Direct inquires to the office of the appropriate staffer
2. Assist with schedule implementation”
3. Cooperate in the day-to-day management of the office
