Yesterday our campaign held a press conference just outside of Philadelphia with several Pennsylvania doctors. The afternoon event addressed the topic of health care and the direction health care reform has taken in Washington.

US Health Care Common Sense
Excellent speech followed by physician comments in Philadelphia, recently, on this video. Toomey's and Congressional counterproposals are much less costly and have a much greater chance of controlling health care costs, improving health care access, and restoring national prosperity.
After hearing this articulate, intelligent speech, I will contribute and support Toomey for Senate.

health care - pre-existing conditions
I am an independent conservative with a strict constructionist point of view, and dead set against socialism. I also like simple elegant plans. Having said that, a major point of contention in the health care debates is covering people with pre-existing conditions. I haven't heard the Republicans come up with anything to address that problem.
Lower Merion Press Conference
Dear Mr. Toomey
Please keep fighting for fiscal responsibilty within our government. I honestly cannot wait for November 2010 to overturn the house and senate majority to the Republicans. Everything you said in the press conference I agreed with and are common sense solutions to the problems facing our country today.
Health care
I have 3 suggestions if the Dems. shove thier health care down our collective throats.
1. Get to a throat specialist quick before the bill is enacted.

2. Start a bill to repeal the bill. It can be done.
3. Take it to the Supreme Court. Governmental interference in the private health care industry and our personal medical needs is Unconstitutional.

I bellieve that the takeover of our health care has nothing to do with helping us with health care, but much more to do with control over our lives which is what they must do in order to socialize our country completely! There is nothing in our constitution that says that the government has the right to control anything in our lives. We are supposed to have control over not only our lives but the government. We are in a very dangerous time and it is frightening!
The goverhment has never managed anything very well. Medicare is a great example!

Good job, Keep up the good work! And do away with the $45 Billion dollar tort dinosaur. Wish I could afford to help your campaign, but lots of people are hearing of you from me.

Please tell us how we as American citizens can STOP this Obamacare madness!
We feel like the Obama administration is going to steamroll over the will of the American people regardless of how much we protest.

We simply cannot afford this bill. It cuts Medicare, Doctor and Hospital reimbursement and the hospitals are struggling now to stay in business. It is my feeling that we should open clinics (especially in inner cities)where low income people could get free health care. Doctors could take turns volunteering their services to help these people and since there would be financial check to see if they qualify, it would eliminate those who can afford healthcare but would rather take a trip, buy a new car, etc. than pay for healthcare. That way, each city would be taking care of its own people and it wouldn't be open to the fraud the proposed bill will propagate.
However, it is my feeling that no plan will work if we don't have tort reform. That more than anything else has caused the cost of medical care to rise. Many of the suits should be thrown out of court and lawyers should not be allowed to advertise on TV to try to get patients to sue.

Unfortunatly it looks like by November it will be to late.
Is Pat ready to promise he will sign any legislation that helps to repeal this health-care bill???

I am terrified about what this government takeover of healthcare will do to our country, our businesses, our communities and our people. If the house passes the senate bill, the President will sign it and we will have Obamacare! If the Republicans win majorities, I want this bill repealed! No more blame games! Get rid of this monstrosity!
