In Joe Sestak's words: Job Killing Cap and Trade Bill Did Not Go Far Enough

According to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, Cap-and-Trade legislation, "Will have a profound adverse impact on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."

More specifically, the Commission estimates more than 66,000 Pennsylvania jobs will be forfeited should such a policy be enacted - not to mention the monstrous costs associated with such an endeavor.

Congressman Joe Sestak not only voted for the House version of such a bill - he believes it did not go far enough! [See video below]

Even President Obama admits that, "Under my plan, of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket." [See video below]

The Commission finally summarizes: "Residents of Pennsylvania will be severely and disproportionately harmed by carbon legislation. In essence, it comes down to 'common sense.' Is Pennsylvania ready to acquiesce behind federal legislation that will choke off our economy by displacing thousands of jobs and increasing utility bills for residential ratepayers? We hope not."
